Blade Baits for Early Winter Largemouth Bass

Hey guys, sorry for the lack of videos these last couple weeks, fishing has been pretty slow these last couple weeks and I havn’t really got enough good footage to make a video until now. Bass have been hitting blade baits for me in about 10-15 feet of water. This is the latest I have ever been able to fish in open water and still catch a decent amount of fish, so hopefully I will have a few more videos out before the lakes freeze up.

  1. I notice you are reeling and dropping so am assuming the 10-15 feet of water you are fishing has little to no obstructions such as rock piles, ledges, logs or brush.  The fish you are catching are all nice.. Incidentally, after watching yours (and a couple of other guys) blade bait video exploits I broke down, dragged some out of hibernation in the garage (ha) and just finished a vid where the technique was vertical jigging at about 15-20 ft  in a river channel.  Lots of fish and lots of fun.  Merry Christmas, Don

  2. I've been crushing 2-3 lb. smallmouth in some local waters, also on blades, in similar depths. Love this winter so far! Thanks for posting videos. Your videos got me into kayak fishing and I've caught more fish than ever!
